for a moderate break-in, run to about 100 km/h, then release the accelerator. at any gear, try to avoid going 1000 rpm near redline, and vary your rpm constantly. don't run on a steady rpm too long. minimize sudden boost and sudden stops.

NEVER do that, sir.
- Good FC
- Fast Acceleration
- Effortless to reach top speed
Yung Tucson R eVGT ko, 30 minutes after releasing.. hinataw ko na ng 145km/h

ayan nasabi na ni SG lahat...
about the uphill, kaya siguro inde muna pwede dun kasi you will put the engine on high RPM's at minimal speed so hinde sya ok for the engine better parin talaga if high RPM at high speed Im not sure though if thats what SG is pointing out but to be on the proper side might as well avoid uphills until your 1k PMS....tama ba yung pagkakaintindi ko SG?
hehe yan ba yung 2k RPM at 145/KPH? hehehe panu pag 4k RPM na yung tucson? 290KPH?

Basta nakita ko wala pa 3500RPM yung 185km/h
Hindi magandang dalahin sa uphill kasi you're going to put too much stress on the engine. Dapat smooth cruising lang. Gradual acceleration..

Patience is a virtue... They are paying more for something less... Sorry ASX fans, just my opinion... Its small and price higher than a Tucson...

October 1st, 2010 01:41 AM #100I think cash buyers are better off with ASX given that hyundai is prioritizing the financing and will accomodate cash buyers only at an additional charges for accessories. This is actually what happened to me. I've made 50k reservations for GLS tucson and for almost 7 months I've waited without any initiative from my useless dealer to update me. But he's good though at making broken promises of my being no.1 sa list. Then a good samaritan from another dealer approached me and extended his help to find me a unit. Though I didn't end up getting a unit but I do appreciate his honesty and effort. At least di ako pinaasa katulad nung useless kong dealer. The reason why I opted for ASX GLS - 1) Nasawa ako sa tucson eventually dahil siguro sa kakatitig sa brochure ng tucson while waiting at the same time started to fall in love sa ASX before its actual launch and 2) The good samaritan told me that I'll only be considered if I'm willing to pay additional 100k for the accessories that will be loaded to the tucson GLS which made it more expensive than the asx not to mention that I don't have say in the accessories to be loaded. Pano kung di ko magustuhan and besides way over my budget na. Just sharing my experience.
