March 20th, 2007 04:02 AM #105I don't think Gen 3.5 applies, because the new model isn't a minor facelift like Gen 2 to Gen 2.5. Despite similar looks, the Gen 4 Pajero rides on a completely different chassis. Wheelbase is different for the SWB version, length is different for both LWB and SWB. The car is also taller than the previous Gen 3.
To verify that this is a completely new car, notice that the chassis code for the new Gen 4 pajero is V80, the previous Gen 3 was V60. Gen 2 and 2.5 was V20/V40 (for SWB and LWB wheelbase versions), and Gen 1 was L040.

March 20th, 2007 06:36 PM #107I just checked the Wikipedia link. So does it mean that the gen 3.5 Pajero is actually an all-new model?? How long has the current model been available in our market? Parang less than 4 years only right?
