it's called a window air conditioner, because the first units were... placed onto windows, just as you say.
but subsequent house builders put a rectangular hole on the wall or the side of the window, to accommodate the aircon unit.
the inverter, is just a refinement of the cooling system, supposedly to make it more efficient.

Carrier also uses R41a refrigerant but I bought Panasonic inverter malaki ang price difference.

Full inverter probably means that both the motor fan and compressor are inverter ... some only have inverter motor for the compressor ...

Yan pala yun sinasabi sa ads ng Hitachi! "Not all inverters are created equal" sa kanila daw 3 ang inverters. So effect niyan sa electricity consumption?
