Most of the champline dogs here belong to a small gene pool. A champion male dog could be the stud to several hundred dogs. And a champline female dog could be a dam to quite a few too. Almost all champline dogs have at least a few similar ancestors. That's why some champline dogs are prone to ailments.
My lab is also related to Angus Jr., which is your fat lab's dad.

Oh! That's what I thought too. Champline dogs are more prone to ailments because of the close lineage. Angus Jr died early nga e.
It's really hard to look for a mate for my fat lab because her Dad and Mom are both champlineI am particular that her mate has to be an English lab pa.
Most of the labs here in PH are American labs which I don't like at all. Tuwang tuwa ako sa pungok like my fat labJust looking at her makes me feel happy na

Mine were English labs too. I liked their thick and shorter muzzles.

Yeah, so friendly that one of my labs followed the pizza delivery on his way back to the store. He had to turn back so my lab would come back home. I think it's the smell of the pizza.😆
