yes that's right. but you have to go through 6 mos of grueling PSBRC (public safety basic recruitment course), 6 months of FTP (field training program), and PNP Scout for 1 or 2 years na lang yata ngayon (ito yung tinatawag na noong una na RSAF) while receiving more or less 14k as PO1.

Buti nga may company pension kayo. Karamihan ng companies retirement lang. Yung iba wala pa atang retirement. Pwede ka naman may 10 years then move to another company with pension din hehe. My Lolo worked until 75, ayaw pa nga mag retire, siya na ata pinakamatanda sa company

:D I'm not sure bro. running in a small town where politics is so intense is like bashing your head with a rock. i'm considering the judiciary, but it's a long shot-- elections is fast approaching, too late in the day, no more appointment 6 months prior to the day of election, otherwise midnight appointment. siguro sa next administration na lang, but if it's Binay...

how about provident fund? its a mandatory savings. employee share of around 5k per month and employer share of same amount. you will get both share if you serve at least 5 years.
