What is your average monthly expenses and how much do you save?
Its always greener on the other side of the fence.
I can tell you the tv commercial directors (the semi good ones anyway) charge 1.5m per day of shooting as professional fee. And they are booked a lot.
The big wigs in these stock brokerage firms (they are employees and their one and even two downs) haul in 100m a year.
Power industry execs are normally in the top 100 individual taxpayers. They PAY 50plus m in taxes per year.

1. Income - savings = expense is just a theory and would be very difficult to sustain.
2. Banks offer better benefits in terms of bonuses and other incentives
3. Only hi-tech companies offer share based compensation

5. Running your own business is risky unless you sell gen sets and have a business minded daughter
6. Nissan urvan can be bought cheap if repossessed but isuzu crosswind is ideal for vhire business
7. I am in the wrong line of work

bro I'm sure you get my drift :)

The Hall of justice bldgs. Ay Mostly galing sa DOJ budget... Iilan Lang galing sa local govt... May issue pa nga Pag galing sa local govt. At ang kasunod na problema dun is sino naman ang magbabayad ng electric and water bills ng HOJ bldg. na galing sa local govt.? Eh walang budget na naka alot ang SC and Doj dun...
There are 3 branches of govt.. Executive, legislative and the judiciary... Pero when it comes to budget the judiciary get only .005% of the national budget.... Kaya napupupunta sa salaries, benefits and office supplies lahat.. Kaya majority of hoj bldgs. In the phils. Is in poor condition...

-4k opis expenses includes food, drinks, pamasahe pag lunch out etc
-6k weekend gimmicks. can be dinner out, movies, kape. isama mo na ung clothing altho di naman monthly ang bili ko.
-8k savings (20% of take home)
take home - expenses - savings = 8750 ung missing, w.c i guess napupunta sa bisyo. mejo mahilig tayo mag inom, malakas din sa yosi. kelangan na itigil to! haha ang laki ng unaccounted for o! iniisip ko kung may nalimutan ako pero parang wala!
Malaki na rin for 20s yung 40k net. That's around 60k gross. Is that regular shift without OT?
Why is the rent so cheap? I assume you are living in with your GF so all those rent, food and utilities are 50%? Dati kasi nag plano akong maglayas so I looked around condos in salcedo, legazpi and bgc. Nasa 30k per month. My kuya said I have to pay for condo parking, utilities and probably assoc dues.
Re: What is your average monthly expenses and how much do you save?
My friend rented a studio type condo in Makati for a time (since she lived in Fairview and worked in Makati then). She paid around 6.5k per month since there were 2 of them sharing 13k.
Try not to look for high-end condos.

That's another problem for me kasi I wanted to live on my own (no condomate). I really can't afford it with my small salary. Even if I got a 13k condo I still need to pay for parking slot and utilities. It sucks to have a low paying job :(

Live within your means... being able to afford something does not mean you should buy it... Save for your future
