Agree. I have high tolerance dati, probably because I was still young and all. Until I got into a small scale hulidap incident when I was 20. I wouldn't go into the details. That started it all. And having all these crappy news about politics, government, and the legal crime rate, they all build up and finally got me thinking, what if that incident happen again? Or what if those incidents that I read and hear from the news happen to me too? Well I just want a safe haven. Something close to ideal.

That house? Cool. I'd love to have a vacation house on one of the islands, preferably at the most elevated part of the island. That way, the wind flow won't be channeled around by canyons and hillsides. The instrumented wind data would be representative of actual wind flow.
I like the Batanes area because there is ample wind year round. I don't mind high humidity so long as there's wind. Plus, the winters are cool. I also don't mind the isolation. I'm very used to it.

Jun,
In that case, you might want to check out the light houses here. :-)

You can't have a property in Batanes, unless you marry a local.
I asked when I went there, the locals told me that I can't have one unless I marry one, hahaha.
I just don't know how true.

di niya ko type eh. not my loss.

1. What to do during this long weekend?
2. Will there be clashes again in BF? The new Village Admin(?) has put up checkpoints at the Las Pinas-Paranaque border not allowing vehicles without "valid stickers" to enter the Paranaque side starting Oct 6.... Question is what do they mean by "valid stickers"? Vague na naman ang announcement, as always.... If they meant those without "valid BF stickers", and with the position of the checkpoints,- then they are not allowing vehicles with the Las Pinas Friendship Route stickers to enter the Paranaque side of BF.... It is time for the Las Pinas City Government to have their own checkpoint adjacent to the BF checkpoints with the announcement,- "Those without valid LPC Friendship Stickers are not allowed to enter" just like they did some years ago, when the BF Admin was attempting the same stunt...
Homeowners and village associations after 10/20 years(?) do not own the whole village anymore,- because they are not paying property taxes for their roads, and so as I understand it,- by default,- these are city government properties... Another touchy case here....

We were notified the carpeting and laminates we ordered have arrived and will be installed by the carpet guys starting tomorrow.
Finally..... I'm tired of camping inside the house. We're not getting our furniture and household goods delivered until the floors are done.
