Yep.. ang dami nga. Planning to do the whole import as a trading business. Gave myself a month to do some studying on the market. As with all start-ups, I'd probably go for the social media route to gauge market sentiment before throwing more money at the venture. Thankfully, capital isn't really an issue.

I wonder how much minimum order shipment of Nike US' would be. I'll probably send them an email.. hmm.. while I was browsing through their annual reports, 80% of their revenues comes from wholesale consumers (ex. Footlocker's distribution) while <10% is of direct consumer sales (ex. direct Nike stores).

The way they price things at most stores, it's really more for marketing presence more than anything else it seems.

You cannot order directly from Nike. They have a country office here already. In fact you can't even order directly from their country office, you have to be a franchised reseller.

Your other route is gray market and you won't be able to put up a real official retail presence, cause the other authorized resellers will sue and Nike will support them.
