The thread's alive. So...... I'll take advantage of it.
If we win the lottery (not necessarily the P135M)?
Give 50% to charity. Tell everybody we're broke. Put our kid in a private school/boarding house. The wife and I will move to Tahiti and year-round beach.

when im in the UK, my wife still works there, i make it a habit to buy the euro millions lottery ticket. if ill win in the lotto, ill buy that elusive DB9 aston martin and my dream car, maserati spyder-color yellow! i envy people who rides this car. maserati has more than 400 hp under the bonnet. nakasakay na ako nyan, sa boss ko dati, passenger nga lang. then, 20% for the charity, spend 20% for a big house in davao, cars!!! remaining money, deposit in the bank on a fixed time deposit for 5 years. di na maubos hanggang mamatay tayo. fingers crossed, sana.

Hmmm... first of all, I have to get the aircon of the Charade fixed. I'll give it a tune-up too, it's about time!
What else... hmmm...
Ah of course. I'll buy 300 copies each of the Apo Hiking Society albums missing in my collection. According to the girl at Tower Records (now Musicone) the minimum order to start the printing is 500. Maybe 300 is enough for the pressing plant to start pressing!
Hmmm...
Oh yes, how can I forget my granduncle's Chevelle! I'll get it running.
I'll get my grandma, mother's side, a water tank.
I'll get my grandparents, father's side, a water pump.
Speaking of plumbing, I'll get that leaking pipe in our bathroom walls fixed. Major job this...
I'll get my computer some more RAM, that's enough to get it through until I buy a new one (about P133M left, and I'm not getting a NEW computer?!).
How about an iPod and a new headunit for the Charade... naaaah. The el cheapo MP3 player with the cassette adapter would do. I'll certainly have to buy a new set of speakers though.
Hmmm... something tells me I'm thinking a bit too small...Last edited by Alpha_One; March 7th, 2007 at 09:11 PM.

is it true na kapag kukunin mo ng buo (one time) yung napanalunan mong jackpot sa lotto, maraming kakaltasin? whereas kung installment mong kukunin, walang kaltas?

The lotto in the states from what I remember in high school. You get 2 options. You can do the installment over the next..20yrs or whatever years. I think it's more like 50yrs not sure. Or you can take a portion of it all at once. Example you win 50million, they will ask, would you like a large sum of it right now? 30Million, or would you like installment? That's what im remember..but don't quote me on that heheh.
US$370 million
Gooodness!! How much is that in pesos??
