November 26th, 2010 11:11 PM #23I don't give to kids because I believe that I will teach them to be parasites by getting used to receiving dole outs. I believe that if they get used to it, they won't bother about learning, or developing a skill, or talent, etc., because they know someone is going to give them some money anyway. But if he or she is selling something, I support. At least, he or she is doing an honest day's work.
On the other hand, I don't hesitate to give to older folk, who I think don't have the energy to work anymore.

i do not give to child beggars. para kasing i'm teaching them that it is easier to earn money by begging.pag matatanda naman, i give always. i have soft spot for them since i grew up under my lola's care and i still miss her. saka most of these old people were neglected by their own children/relatives.

There is a street vendor (not beggar), selling sampaguita along J. Aguilar Avenue crossing Zap-Alab Rd. going to BF Resort. The child is obviously special, because of his/her(?) deformed face.
Wife and myself always buy P20 worth of the sampaguita from the child. He/she is somebody who is showing determination and the will to survive. First saw him/her in Alabang near Alabang Hills selling the same, but he/she since transferred in the BF Resort area. He/she is not imposing so we call his/her attention everytime...

Wala akong binibigay.

I just tap the window.. One time pa nga i tap the window bigla ba naman sinuntok yung bintana ko nung namamalimos sabay takbo.. Giving them will only justify na ok lang manghingi, mamalimos at umasa sa ibang tao.. Lalo sila hindi titigil at lalo sila dadami..
How about yung mga asa daan na kunwari walang wala pamasahe pauwi? i encountered minsan, i gave 50 petot naawa ako.. Then i saw her again on the same spot, nilapitan ko na sabi ko "Wala ka nanaman pamasahe?, gusto mo pampiyansa naman ang ipanglimos mo?" ayun karipas ng takbo..
