Rat problem sa house

before di ako takot sa daga.. pinaglalaruan ko pa ung dagang costa ung white..
pero last time nakakita ako sa sala tapos pumasok sa kwarto ko.. sa kabilang kwarto ako natulog kinabukasan pinalinis ko ung kwarto ko.. and may namatay na daga sa loob ng a/c ng kwarto ko grabe ang baho!

try niyo ung fly trap effective un!

dunno if that's necessarily true; imho most cats would rather rummage through garbage, or beg for food rather than hunt.

effective ung nabili naming mousetrap; it's an all metal, smaller version than the one sir niky posted a while back. mga 70 pesos ata.

i bought 5 traps, and in the first 4-5 days nakahuli kaagad ng close to 20 bubwit/mice. though sad to say medyo nag lax kami after that, kaya nagkaron uli ng daga...so lagay uli ng traps.

i concur. may scent marks din ata iniiwan ang mga pusa through their paws and cheeks to warn certain preys and cats alike that this is where they lounge.

may kitten nga ako dati alaga sa apartment ko inatake niya isang full grown rat na kasing laki niya...epic ang struggle nila! pang pelikula!

effective yung trap na parang kulungan.. meron dating ganyan sa bahay nang tita ko sa laguna.. nahuli namin ang laki.. tapos ginawa namin.. binunutan namin nang ngipin.. tsaka namin niligaw kung saan..

First of all... Rats are Marsupials... a distant relative of Rabbits, Kangaroos and Guniae Pigs. Treat them like what they are really.

First step: Feed them; put food stuff in a particular spot everyday... observe how much they are consuming it... change the quantity for every given time. With their consumption pattern - you can easily tell if they are a large lot or not.

Second step: Now that they are used to this system... of course- do it consistently for about a month more or less. You will observe they will not be destroying your things nor bite your food stuff in your cupboard or pantry.

Third: Slowly introduce a new pet in your household. A Female Cat... the cat should initially given good food on time... then slowly starve it. But don't stop putting food fore your pet rats... the place where you will be putting the rat food should be inaccessible for the cat.

The effects:

You will not have a dead rat rotting under your bed.

Your Cat will take control of your rats population expansion and therefore,

The next problem you will probably find after you solve this is... Cat population explosion. :-)

Go for anything natural... don't use rat poison - it can contaminate the environment when the rat decomposes to the earth.

Effective din laban sa mga ahas ang mga pusa! Kaya labs ko 'tong mga hinayupak na pusang ito kahit umiihi lagi sa cowl cover at sa iba pang parte ng sasakyan ko, e.

The Alternative Way

How many times have you ever come across the sight of your car with scratch marks and/or residue stains that were left by the cat sleeping on the hood the previous night?

I know exactly how you feel, the anger and frustration of it all; fortunately there is a solution.

Other than using your daddy's 12-Gauge shotgun, there are other options available that are more straight-forward and cheaper than you'd

think.

1. Car cover.
You could buy a cheap car cover from your local auto accessory store if you're not planning to invest in a quality cover like the ones found at your local car dealer. But be aware that cat's claws can easily tear up a weak cover. Look for covers that uses a strong material that lasts.

2. Orange Peels.
Cats absolutely hate the smell of oranges or most citrus fruits, I 'm sure there is a scientific explanation to this but I can't explain why. I use to scatter orange peels around the car and even on the car itself; not a single cat in sight. Just a friendly reminder that orange peels won't last long and will start to decompose sooner or later.

3. Mints
Cats also hate the smell of mints, but I wouldn't recommend wasting a whole pack of mentos.

4. Pepper Granules
Just like dogs, cats also hate pepper granules too. But be careful though, the pepper can get into their eyes and cause inflammation. If you decide to use pepper granules, sprinkle some around the car, the cat won't like the grittiness and will be forced to lick it off; HOT !!! It might be wise to leave a bucket of ice cold water close-by.

5. Water Sprinkler
Cats won't go near your car if its all wet and rainy looking.

6. Mothballs
Drop a few in a jar or can, cover it up and pierce a few holes on top or around the sides if using a can and leave it around the car. No cat is going to bother your car anymore.

7. Commercial Cat repellent (aerosol type)
A very obvious option that can be purchased at your local supermarket. Look for types that are organic or safe to use around children and plants, because the older type absolutely stinks and will repel you too.
