I don't remember much about PH cars except the Celeste, Lancers, and Corolla Liftback(?). As a teen, the first two were popular with tuners. They were a given. I only knew about the Liftback when a friend pointed one out to me because he liked the rear wiper.

I remember when a friend modded his Celeste. It had a much deeper growl. I mentioned if he installed fedders on it. He and my friends laughed and said it's headers, not fedders. Fedders is an air conditioner. Ooops.

Victim of idiot politicians... A new "Hall of Justice" building was supposed to be built. The property behind it is occupied by DMCI Photo Bomber Torre de Manila.

That brings back memories. Wasn't there a Rustan's (?) nearby? I can recall many locations when one Friday night, a friend and I walked (actually we ran from the cops ) from Greenhills to EDSA, a military base, Guadalupe and that hill, to QUAD, and eventually to Alabang.

It was past midnight. There wasn't a single car on the highways. But, we stayed in the shadows anyway because there was a curfew. A military jeep (PH Constabulary, I think) came by, making the rounds once we were headed for Alabang. We hunched down and hid in the grass. After that, we climbed over the chainlink fence and walked on the grass parallel to the highway. Saw planes at the tarmac to the right. Walked past the Sucat(?) exit and finally to Alabang as the sun came up.

The most scary part was when we walked at the overpass, transitioning from EDSA to the South Expressway. It didn't seem much when driving. But, when I walked on it and looked over the side, that thing was very high up. I remember thinking if a cop showed up, I better not jump over the side. It's a long drop.
