malapit .. honestly, di ko na matandaan kung gaano kasarap coney island. siguro dahil pag bata ka and bubble gum ice cream flavor, parang walang tatalo sa kanya LOL

I can no longer find pictures of the old enclosed aluminum phone booths that we used to have around Manila, some surviving well into the early 90's, I think.

This was the last analog payphone I remembered before they switched them out for the stainless steel digital ones as they removed the enclosed booths.

No, I was thinking along the lines that when a crime is being committed, Superman's not around to stop it on account of not being able to change into his costume. So rather than risking exposure of his true identity, he just let the crime happen. Hence, the rise in crime after those phone booths were removed.

or maybe, clark was in the phone booth when they removed it. hence the absence of the crime deterrent.
