I was there in 1979. I didn't care much for basketball although I remember playing futbol at the UST soccer field during weekends.

I also remember the airport as Manila International Airport. I still refer to it as MIA. Great memory of the place. When I left, there were so many little groups of people who saw me off and none of them knew each other.

Some had secrets (to this day) that would have shocked my mom. But, hey. They were nice to me. Therefore, I was nice to them. I didn't care where they came from.
