January 25th, 2007 08:11 PM #11i think wala yata e..
wala din sa hulog mga law makers natin.. they will not allow divorce (a process that acknowledges the marriage and its end), but will allow anullment (basically saying the marriage never took place in the first place)

January 25th, 2007 08:25 PM #13boeing, opposite ang situation ng friend ko. she is legally married, but was wondering if she could apply as single, since separated na nga sila, wala lang documents on their separation.
for applicants who apply as single, hinahanapan ba ng proof that they are indeed single??

i think you would agree that applying as a single to migrate anywhere, wherein fact one is married is lying, isnt it? so what do you think any consul or embassy would do if they found out she is lying?
best option is to come clean, ask for legal advice on the matter. who knows, it may not be hard as she thinks.

tama ang mga bro never lie to a consul... saka kailangan ma pa ayos muna nya marriage nya na legally separated sya kasi baka mag check ang canadian embassy at makita na married sya tapos nilagay nya single mag kaka problema papers nya. basta just be honest...baka yun pa ang makatulong sa application nya.

Mahigpit na ngayon after 9/11 when it comes to visa applications to other countries. If the consul reviewing your application finds any discrepancies - the application can then be considered as "fraud".
To really start over in a clean slate (para masabi nya single sya or divorced) - Ayusin muna nya annullment case nya - para may supporting papers sya na divorced or annulled sya sa visa applications nya.
Good luck!

Medyo magulo yan, kung lahat ngpapers niya like passport ang pangalan niya as married kailangan niyang magapply for visa as married, kasi malaking question iyon pakit hindi niya delare as married siya. pero kung ang mga papers niya ang nakalagay na pangalan niya ay noong single pa siya , baka makalusot pa na as single siya pero call na niya iyon,

they require Certificate of singleness NSO ang nag issue and must be aunthenticated.
If landed immigrants apply niya sa Australia or Canada i think wla nman problema if married sya and not legally seperated sa personal appearance ( interview ) nman just tell the truth na marriage sya but iyong husband niya iniwan sya at sumama sa ibang babae .. possible pa maawa sa knya consul ..
