It's a private building so their management can do as they wish.
However, if I was the one calling the shots, I wouldn't segregate. Thing is, gusto rin naman yan ng mga unit owner.
Ngayon ko lang nalaman na having a condo elevator free of maids is now a sign that you've made it. 😅

^^ agree din, but the maids and drivers need to be told that there is a decorum they need to follow. one, they need to fall in line. two, behave appropriately, just like they will behave when in front of their employers and guests. pag may kasama silang owner sa elevator then they should at least keep their voices down. as in everything discipline comes first.

I agree to this line of thought. Outright banning will not change their habits so you're not addressing the root cause which is to at least try and get unit owners to brief their house help on proper elevator etiquette (whether they use the service elevator or otherwise). Parang LTFRB lang yan. Traffic? Eh di pag-bawalan ang mga sasakyan sa EDSA.

ang papangit siguro ng mga katulong diyan.
kung magaganda mga maid diyan nakalagay,
"please instruct your pretty helpers to use the Extra Service Elevator only".
diyahe rin yan sa mga unit owners. yung uutusan mo baka magtagal sayang oras.

I'd choose them to be segregated. Look at this scenario. Your daughter, wife, kabit or son goes up with a driver or service/maintenance man. Sinundan sa same floor. Don't you think it is safer for tenants to have their own?
