not exactly through the rib cage but either between or right above the left collar bone.
the commando using is supposed to approach from behind and sink it below the left side of the neck where he can pierce the aorta and heart while the other hand is covering the mouth of his victim.
if stabbing doesn't work, there's still a pommel underneath the scales to crack the skull.Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

Not all the time. But, I got issued them depending on where I was sent or what unit I was attached to. Unlike other specialties, AF weather folks get farmed out to whatever unit or branch of service that required weather support. Almost all my deployments were with the army (plus a marine unit). Not once have I deployed with an AF unit.
I had a desert cam flop hat that should have been hanging on the wall. But, my uncle wanted it. Not sure why. It was worn out and grimy from use. I gave it to him, anyway. I also had an unused desert flop hat. But, one of my wife's pretty friends wanted it. Of course, I gave it to her. Can't say no.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; February 8th, 2016 at 04:26 PM.

February 10th, 2016 11:15 AM #124The first knife i bought along the sidewalk of Avenida; it had a "Rambo" Ka-Bar style blade, probably entirely made out of iron, with a hilt like that of the Fairbarins-Sykes ^_^. The entire blade is rusted out now, but surprisingly the hilt is still intact(although a little bent), so i'm guessing brass?

^Kukri is a top heavy knife that can be swung or thrown like an ax. It's not meant to fly back like a boomerang. The center of gravity of a boomerang is in the empty space between the tips that's why it curves when it flies.
Gurkhas during world war II silently hacked down a japanese battalion with that weapon.
