February 24th, 2011 11:18 PM #28success story na pala ang buying a car
"Poor" people do not buy cars.
------
I do not have my own driven car while still in school but drove a 1993 red Corolla GLi (brand new given by my parents) while in residency training.
First car bought was a 2nd hand 1993 blue Corolla (another big body) at age 34 about 4 years into marriage.
First brand new car bought was a 2006 Crosswind at age 36 while anticipating the first addition to the family.
But technically, I do not own these cars--one was a gift, the 2 above mentioned cars are conjugal properties.

I like bikes too. Ang binili pala sa akin ng father ko non e, yamaha crypton motor cycle, 10 years old na sya ngayon. During that time, I was 21 y.o. single, mas pang-chicks kasi nong time na yon dito sa amin yong motor bike kasi exposed ang kapogian ng driver.i got married at an early age tuloy. until now, i'm still using it as alternative ride sa car ko. pang-rush and short distance trips lang.
