    ang meter rate.

In Singapore, their mercedes, C300 & london taxis are much higher meter rate than the hyundai sonata or toyota crown.
The car brands you mentioned ranges from S$2.80 to S$3.20 then .20 kada patak. Ang pinakamatindi yung Chrysler 300C. $5 starting, .30 kada patak. :bwahaha:

Malamang pag Honda taxi automatic + 20 pesos sa flagdown. Prestige

Just curious, was there really ever a rule that you can't use a Honda as a taxi?

The common explanation is that they ask you to sign a waiver that it won't be used as PUV but I think this is just an urban legend.

We had an EG and EK before, but we didn't sign any stupid waiver. Do any of you recall signing one before?

I also find it BS na it's because of expensive parts - meron ngang taxi na Carens eh.

An EK LXi or Type Z City isn't that much more expensive to maintain than a pizza Lancer or N16 Sentra, but we see more of the latter 2 than the Hondas.

Obviously Honda's "prestige" has radically dwindled now - I wonder why no one is still turning their old Hondas into taxis.

There is a waiver / contract embedded somewhere in either the delivery receipt or invoice. Read the fine print.

It's a BS that some people think their Hondas are prestige.

Mas prestige pa ba yan sa mga MB/Audi?

whatever honda thought when they declared their taxi-less "policy", it's still working.
many buyers still prefer honda because they know it's not taxi material..
when they buy used honda, they are confident it wasn't used as a taxi.
i personally know of a few people who think think this..

yeah yeah... seasoned car owners know the telltale signs of taxihood.. but hey! not everybody is as well-informed.

I recall seeing a Honda Civic with yellow plates. It was'nt a taxi, but it had yellow plates. Green Lxi, roaming around here in Makati, I'll snap a picture of it pag nakita ko ulit.
