When passing thru customs here in the phils. don't forget to have a handy 5 or 10 or $20 bill slipped in your passport-just in case... and just in case you are bringing in some "stuff"
Mababait naman yun mga asian immigration officers sa US I've been thru. Nakakakwentuhan ko pa yun mga pinoy kababayans natin sa airport. Bumili pa nga ako ng lumpia after overhearing some "secret" conversations(selling food) behind meThe only hostility I got were from african american security in LAx, and from white american attendants sa boarding gate ng LAx din - Pinapabyad at pinapacheck-in na sa akin yun extra hand carry ko without even looking at my ticket. When they saw I was on business class, apologize sila agad. Porke naka sandals lang ako at di ako kasing gwapo ng mga naka business suits hehehe
When ever I travel I don't wear accessories like watches, kahit belt or steel toe shoes... Jogging pants lang and comfy sandals para iwas hussle sa pagsearch. diretso na agad after the metal detector. Mahirap pag madami ka burloloy sa katawanLast edited by cardo; November 4th, 2005 at 10:42 AM.

Yep. FRS radios do not require any documentation there. Ewan ko lang kung maha-hassle ka ng Filipino customs.
