Ang dami gumagamit ng comeback statements, I'm fairly new sa tsikot pero pansin na pansin ko yun ganun dito marami gumagamit. Merong bumili ng 4x2 kasi di practical ang 4x4 and other lame excuses pero last statements "even though i can afford a 4x4". Meron nagset ng personal limit na 150k ata sa credit card pero yun ulit "even though my credit limit is way above that". Eh syempre mataas pa dun ang credit limit mo, eh ikaw lang naman ang nagset ng personal limit mo!Meron din sa rolex thread. Meron naman "even if i can pay it in cash", kung ganun bakit di mo bayaran in cash! TAMA NA!!!!
Even if refers to a hypothetical scenario; you can substitute it with the phrases "assuming that" or "just supposing".
Ex. Even if I had two hours to spare for shopping, I wouldn't go out and buy a suit.
Even though presupposes that a particular scenario already exists.
Ex. Even though I had two hours to spare for shopping, I couldn't find the suit I wanted.
