i have a CC. i use it only when i have to.
It's more proper lang kasi to not hand in cash, it's more discreet.

If I have cash, will still pay in cash. Mas mabilis, lalo na if no or minimal change lang yung sobra sa binayad ko.

May mga kakilala ako na until now walang credit card, they are doing fine naman. Points, discounts, 0% instalments.

But yes I agree everybody should have one. For me more of pang emergency siya.

Imaging going into a business lunch meeting. Then ikaw magbayad, awkward diba cash ang ibabayad mo.

I can't forget what my mom said when she told me to get a CC after graduation. Pag wala daw ako it shows my lack of credibility especially pag ganyan nga sa business settings.

Yun mga kakilala mo paano sila pag mag out of the country? Yun security deposit nila sa hotels? Awkward din d9ba pay cash ibinigay mo as security deposit.

Talaga ba? I don't own a credit card eh. I used to kasi pinadalhan ako ng bank and I used it for a few years pero nung naiwan ko sa resto, pinacancel ko na lang. For my online payments I use my atm/debit card.

Yes, kasi I think they have to ask the bank for approval pa, call center agent lang naman kasi kausap natin.

Agree 100% with shadow. I feel awkard (both ways) pag cash ang binayad sa treat.

And yes, nakakawala ng credibility ang walang CC. Isa sa proof of financial capacity ang CC bill (I worked for the cards department at isa yan sa tinitignan)

I don't know sa sa iba ha, but if yung nag invite sa akin pay in cash, mas mapapabilib pa ako, parang feel ko marami siyang pera hehehe

It's etiquette doc (no offense po) definitely not something propagated by banks. Discreet lang talaga pag card, even I would feel awkard pag cash ang binayad in a date, treat or business meeting. When our friends treat out at hati hati kami, card din ginagamit namin tapos saka na lang bayaran kasi ang sagwa mag compute

would you still have a high regard for me, if you saw me paying in twenties...?
    heh heh.

i once saw a poorly-dressed lady, walk into the bank, with small bayong in hand.
thereupon she started pulling out rubber banded bundles of paper money....

No annual fees yo!

    Nagtatago pag tinatawagan.
