Lotto winners (especially yung mga nangaling sa wala) don't make their fortunes last. Just like basketball players and celebrities... Quick money kasi dosen't teach you to preserve it unlike money mad in business na alam mong mahirap kaya matindi ang preservation dito...

Of course, if I had 200k in salary every month and a monthly debt of just 50k, I really wouldn't mind.
I overheard a friend of my boss once... instead of looking for a house to build he was looking for a building to buy. Additional income 'ika nga

And he rides around in a 2004 Accord.

I have this friend, yun dad niya retired at the age of 35. I believe his dad is into forex trading and is earning quite a lot dahil grabe magrelease ng pera.

At that point in time I believe na sila ang definition ko ng mayaman. Anyway, medyo affected daw sila ng financial crisis last year. Hindi ko lang alam kung gaano ka-apektado.

I also know this guy who earns 150 k daily with one of his businesses. With a stroke of luck, this guy, used to be a "kargador" sa palengke become one of the wealthiest in that town after about 20 yrs.

    that's how rich roll.

i know some people napaka rich nila as in. pero they roll in a middle-class vehicles.

    for me,

    rich ka kung:

    marunong ka mag-ipon
    magaling ka magtipid (kuripot)
    madiskarte
    matiyaga.
    kung ano meron, makuntento.

    etc.

    I agree.

Sa offshore banks yung mga high net worth clients may personal banker who will go to them when they need to make a transaction.

If you want a private account with them you have to go to SIngapore and the ADB is 20 million ata.

Mga $1M pwede na magbukas ng offshore account... Matindi narin kasi competition ng mga private banks given the wealth destruction created by the 2008 and the on going Great Recession...
