Motor & serial Numbers of Minis

Inquiry: where can i find the motor and serial number of a mini?

Pierre, the engine number is located at the engine block below the #1 spark plug while the chasis is either on the bulk head or firewall or at the upper part of the front apron.

iba pa po ba ang VIN number sa chassis number ng MINI?
yung nasa bulkhead daw po ang VIN number, e yung body serial number po kaya san specific makikita?

pano po ba malalaman kung anong specific model at year model ang mini?may markings po ba na makikita sa oto?

jdm, pag may brake servo mini mo, it's 1989 up. eto din yung naka 3 pt rear belts. VIN nos can be found sa bulkhead at sa plate aside from VIN andun ang paint code and interior trim color, yung mahaba sa front apron yun ang commission no., it usually starts with B20S---....

ano po ba itsura nung servo sa brake?ang familiar ako is the hydrovac on the left side when standing in front of the car..
yung VIN po ba is different from the chassis/body serial number?yung chassis number po kasi diko ma locate..

Isang source ng pagidentify ng mini ay sa V I N (vehicle Identification Number). For example ang VIN ay SAXXNNAYCBD - SAX is the world make identifier, for UK and Rover group ,XN is the model code for mini 1300 range, N is the Class, always N on a Cooper, A is for 2-door saloon, the 8th letter identifies engine type, either M(carburetor cars) or Y(fuel inj cars). In the example, Y meaning fuel injection car. 9th letter,C means RHD fuel injection car with 3.21:1 final drive ratio. the 10th, indicates model change, The letter A is found on the Commemorative cars(the part list defines A as indicating 'special edition'), all others should be B.
