Motor & serial Numbers of Minis

Inquiry: where can i find the motor and serial number of a mini?

Pierre, the engine number is located at the engine block below the #1 spark plug while the chasis is either on the bulk head or firewall or at the upper part of the front apron.

iba pa po ba ang VIN number sa chassis number ng MINI?
yung nasa bulkhead daw po ang VIN number, e yung body serial number po kaya san specific makikita?

jdm, pag may brake servo mini mo, it's 1989 up. eto din yung naka 3 pt rear belts. VIN nos can be found sa bulkhead at sa plate aside from VIN andun ang paint code and interior trim color, yung mahaba sa front apron yun ang commission no., it usually starts with B20S---....

ano po ba itsura nung servo sa brake?ang familiar ako is the hydrovac on the left side when standing in front of the car..
yung VIN po ba is different from the chassis/body serial number?yung chassis number po kasi diko ma locate..

jdm,
yes yung ngang servo ang hydrovac, between them and the fender wall is the washer tank in between. VIN is the same with the chassis # and should be the same sa plate ( usually square ) at yung naka ukit sa canal ng scuttle panel ( panel between the windshield at bago hood. approx located below the wiper or katapat ng servo). Pag yan ay shaved, may sunog ng acetylene or burado, chances are stolen ang mini or ni reshell na yung body.
