thanks bro, 'cuz i'm from socal too, i'm an old benz guy also. Use to own a real clean 1980 W116 300SD which I regret selling. I'm out of space and I need to get rid of it. I currently drive an 1982 r107 380SL.

Nice 107 you have there..... same goes for the bug and the american muscle! Hehehe! You might want to exchange contact details with Pat (mbiege) so when they have a meet, you could join them.

OT: Any chance you join the local "BUG" meets there too? You might know my "kababata" (katanda na ngayon) Toto dela Cruz.

Thanks Benzmizer, well I've never been to a bug meet. Unfortunately there's a disconnect here between old bugs and the new beetle as the old bug people do not recognize the new beetle as a legit bug (same thing goes with the mini)...so we're sort of not welcome to their meets..they're kinda snob

May taong ayaw kasi sa mga "retro" cars like the Mini Cooper, VW Beetle, etc. It even goes to the MB groups, mga owner ng bagong MB usually di namamansin ng mga classic MB owners (pero may exceptions rin syempre). I'm sure meron din konting snobbery with the new and old Mustangs (lalo na yung latest model na nagpapaka-retro).

Sad to say pero ganun talaga, kaya we old MB owners usually generate our own meets (pwede sumama yung mga newer MB owners, pero baka ma-OP lang sila di ba). Importante is open kami dun, pero vice versa hindi nangyayari madalas.
