lately parati ko naa-abutan iyong tom cruise flick na edge of tomorrow sa hbo. surprisingly nagagandahan ako sa movie na ito kasi witty ang dialogue plus parati namamatay si cruise. :bwahaha: kasi sa ibang action movies niya na parang immortal siya (excluding the interview w/ a vampire classic, of course
) kaya kurneh na ang kinalalabasan
and, it doesn't hurt that emily blunt is such a smoldering sweaty looker in this extravaganza :inlove:Last edited by baludoy; August 25th, 2015 at 12:43 PM.

Zulu Dawn echoed many of the inaccuracies that was brought up after the battle. Some inaccuracies included the ammo situation and the Martini-Henry rifles jamming. There was also the lack of the solar eclipse in the movie. Nor was there any mention of the Zulu warriors being drugged up (as part of pre-battle preparations). But, still. I felt it had the best "feel" among the Zulu War movies. There was (a bit more) focus on the Zulus which I considered the finest mobile infantry of their time.
I think the main contributors to the British defeat are the formations being too spread out and Durnford's retreat which allowed the left horn of the Zulu formation to outflank the Brits. The Brits also didn't have any Gatlings with them at Isandlwana (they had them in later battles). That meant the Brit lines should have been more compact with less gaps between formations.
I have the book, "The Zulu War: A Pictorial History" which is a great companion to the movie.

I'm watching Avengers on TV. My kid just told me we have a Blu Ray/DVD of it. Hmmm. I really need to check all the new stuff the kids and the wife have bought.
