Sae-Royi could have taken Soo-Ah as his girlfriend during all those time while he was planning out his goals. It would have been the most natural way of things happening. The girl was practically throwing herself unto him but his head was deep in his *$$ plotting revenge.

Later on, he got into a realisation with his love for his CFO and broke off with his longtime GF.

Yes I did watch messiah before when it first appeared on netflix. I mean after watching it many were puzzled if he is indeed the messiah or a hoax. In my opinion he should not have walk through the water in washington dc as many magicians did a stunt like that. And the last scene he might have a parachute on to have survive the crash.
