Just an honest opinion here...
I just don't see anything great about the audio setup in the Revo in the pictures. Sure, you might have lots of speakers but as it seems, no thought has been given to the aesthetics of the audio setup.
It is just a wooden box with lots of speakers screwed into it.
I have seen a lot of vans back in the 1990s at Greenhills parking (in front of the old Greenhills Theater) with much better setups.

August 8th, 2010 07:34 PM #45it is because this is my 1st time to install a system by myself and im still on the learning stage im not a guru ... also i dont have tons of cash to spend to have a fancy lay out.. give me a few more months and you will see and btw i bet my system sound better and louder than yours...
try to install a system by your self and lets do a friendly sound off.
your install vs my "Wooden box with lots of speakers screwed into it".

Sorry, I go for car performance mods these days. But I sold my toy car a few months ago. Tuned SR20 with lightened B14 chassis, suspension works, custom exhaust, etc. Vmax at a sustained 219 kph. Driven it to lots of places simply just for the drive. I still miss that car.
Current car in the works is a Lancer EX. I just upgraded the suspension for better handling and still sorting out the damping rates for the adjustable front & rear dampers.
I have had my time with boom-boom audio mods way back in the 90s.
That lasted a couple of years.
Then I went drag racing. Speed addict ever since.
I bet my hearing is better than yours.(j/k)

I am more of a handling person. I never did go for absolute HP output. I always went for a balance of power & handling.
Or ... just enough HP to get the car into trouble but with enough "car" to get out of trouble as well. My B14 with tuned SR20 was my best example of this.
But yes, my current lancer EX is being tuned by SPEEDLAB. I already have a UNICHIP installed and tuned as well as the above mentioned suspension upgrades.
Right now, my car still looks stock (only slight drop for the front to reduce the wheel to fender gap). The only give-away is the "speedlab" sticker on the rear window.
BTW, I think the guy who spent P800K on performance mods has already sold the car and bought an EVO.
