August 4th, 2010 05:17 PM #592Hi guys. I'm thinking of getting a Mazda 2 hatchback automatic preferably in color white. This will be my first car. I have been driving a Toyota Innova for months na pero its my grandfather's car. I want a car that I can call my own.
Anyways, is the Mazda 2 a good first car? Di ba siya alagaain? Tsaka di ba siya magastos? No one from my family had a mazda before. Puro hondas, nissans and toyotas lang. Thank you! :D Gusto ko talaga ng Mazda 2 eh. :D

Welcome to tsikot!
Well... so far wala po tayong data regarding the service cost and the durability of the mazda2...
in essence kami pong mga unang kumuha yung mga long-term testers ng mazda2
but it is a great car

August 5th, 2010 01:07 AM #595ilang beses ako pabalik balik sa showroom, a few months apart just to be sure. pero diko talaga magustuhan ang MZ2.. parang ok, na parang hindi. Pero the deal breaker was the price. Too much i think.
Pero if one must buy this, mas ok yung hatchback. The tail of the sedan seems like the kia rio of old. Parang di bagay.
Just my opinion. No need to get angry all you die-hard MZ2 fans alright.

^^at dito mo pa talaga pinost yan. patay ka.
kidding.
the hatch indeed is a bit pricey at 795k. the yaris undercuts this and has a discount to boot
but the sedan (785k) is good value compared to the vios (810k 1.5G), and is a good alternative to the 1.3S city in terms of pricing
hehe. may mga nagsasabi nga na hindi maganda yung integration nung trunk ng sedan, parang hatch lang na linagyan ng extension.
but personally, I like the lines of the mz2, but the front fascia is a bit tacky with its smileyface theme. It does grow on you, though. hehe.

August 5th, 2010 01:40 PM #597Hehe, its funny how people have so different taste. Personally I love both the Sedan and the Hatchback.
I think the design of the Sedan is great, or else I wouldnt have chosen it
I might have considered the Hatchback but since it does not offer an M/T I had no doubt about the Sedan. My budget was max 740K.
Btw, anyone here who has purchased a Mazda from Quezon Ave? How long did it take before you received your plate? I am still waiting
Best regards
A pride M2S owner

August 5th, 2010 03:38 PM #598Might not be of any use but I just got my plates yesterday - exactly three weeks after I took home Zoomy, my Mazda2.
Got my unit from Mazda Alabang btw. I was starting to get worried because I've heard horror stories about LTO having 2-month backlogs.
