I have visited this site and almost everyone is drooling for a WRX  A poster asked for an opionion in choosing between the MSP and the 6 and the majority advised him to get the WRX and a few for the mini 8O Come to think of it, the WRX can not only go fast but it is also a winter car due to its AWD :!:

    *cough* W *cough* R *cough* X

    driver: 140lbs
    GF front passenger: 98lbs
    Rear Passengers:
    Right side: 260lbs 8O
    Left side: 165lbs
    Middle: 3 yr old 55lbs

OK yung 3 yrs old a..... 55lbs  Yung anak ko, magsi-six na 45lbs lang.......

Good point you have there Karding..... I also have to look at the car's payload ability since my family is growing. Now, you're starting to sound like a good salesman, hehehe 8) Baka naman may gusto ka pang sabihin..... like, bakit wagon ang kinuha mo instead of the sedan......

Macky, ehh, ginawa akong salesman. kelangan ko ng komisyon from SOA

    Why WRX Wagon:

    1. I can fit a 36" TV or load bigger items w/c a Sedan can't.
    2. Take my DOG
    3. Rear seats can be fold down completely resulting in the #1 capability
    4. Wagon is only 80lbs heavier than Sedan
    5. If you wanna go fast, you can without attracting too much attention from the cops
    6. The totally remodelled WRX is much better looking in a WAGON form. (IMHO)
    7. You will have an opportunity to WAVE at every WRX owner you see on the road, and they do WAVE back at yah 8) sense of pride for owning one.
    8. Snow Snow Snow

Baka 2 years from now, lumipat ako ng East Coast (DC,VA,MD, or DE) so prepared na ko sa Snow 8)

Pre, if you don't mind..... can you tell me how much you paid for your WRX and kung anu-ano ang options na kasama? Anu-ano na rin yung mga mods na nilagay mo and is it worth it?

    Macky, no problemo bro.

$25K sticker price, got it for $22K no options plus $1.5K more on my trade. I doubt it na makuha mong ganito kamura kse yung bug-eye ang last 2003 model and nagiba ang hitsura ng 2004. Considering na sa November ka pa kukuha, ang 2004/2005 baka makuha mo ng $25K or $500 over invoice ($24,254)

mods and everything is worth it, IMHO.
    1. TEIN coil-over suspension
    2. A-Tech Japan Final Speed wrapped with Yokohama AVS ES100 (all season but not recommended for snow)
    3. Zero/Sports Grille
    4. JUN eyelid
    5. RAYS Engineering Forged Lugs
    6. Kartboy Short-Shifter and bushings
    7. Razon 400gram leather shift-knob
    8. Clifford Matrix RS3 Alarm
    9. Perrin Shortram Intake
    10. STi Hoodscoop
    11. GT-Spec airsplitter for hoodscoop
    12. GT-Spec Radiator Shroud
    13. TurboXS stealth-back exhaust (will be mated with HKS Carbon-Ti or Blitz NUR Spec axle-back)
    14. GT-Spec Header and cat-less uppipe

    On it's way:
    15. TurboXS UTEC
15a. Whiteline(AUSSIE tuner) adjustable rear swaybar
    16. Whiteline high-performance End-links
    17. Whiteline Swaybar brackets
    18. Cusco Front Tower bar
    19. Cusco Rear Towerr bar
    20. Tanabe SUSTEC Pro underbrace

all of these = 309HP at the wheels from 227HP

Pero hindi ka naman yata speed and or performance savvy, all you need is suspension upgrades. You dont have to upgrade, but knowing myself, I just have to. I just have to do everything in my car before I get married  pagtapos nun, para sa baby na namin 8) You can also change the Potenza RE92 to a better tire to start with. Walang wenta yung mga stock na tires , IMHO.

Thanks..... so mga $5K more pala ang difference between the MSP and WRX..... is the added speed and AWD worth it? Tapos may matic pa kaya OK sya malamang kay misis. Hmmmmmm.

Pero excited na ko magkapamilya, take the kids to parks etc.

added AWD feature alone is more than enough for the $5K diference bro. para hindi masyadong bias ang opinion ko or para makakuha ka ng iba pang opinions from other owners, go to www.nasioc.com largest Subaru Community, that I know of. or go directly to NEWBIES & FAQ Forum http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=34
