it's just most noticeable on that trunk panel, in other places the paint's fine. i'm guessing that trunk panel is a different material (like aluminum?) than the other panels?
thanks, Olympus C-5060WZ hehe

AFAIK OEM Paints on most cars have orange peel (except ofcourse for the high end variants), yup its a paint imperfection but I don't think its anything to loose sleep over. Imagine how many man hours will it require to sand down and buff after every step of the painting process... it will raise the car's SRP significantly. So in a way, its a cost cutting process, you want a mirror finish have it repainted.

no, but it's more evident here than in most others (because of the location). i usually see orange peel on other cars in the bumpers and in other plastic parts. but no, it's not worth losing sleep over nga hehe.

IMO, orange peel is more evident on bumpers because of the prep/painting process (or lackoff). Most OEM clearcoat finishes have some sort of orange peel, it may vary depending on how long you buff/sand the surface... more time you put in it the less the orange peel.
OT: mbt btw ganda ng camera mo, magkano bili mo niyan hehehe... kita kita yung Orange Peel, usually makikita lang yan at an angle under flourescent light.
