Just here to share, sir. No mention necessary.
The swish upon shifts? That's normal, sir. It's more pronounced on the smaller, less insulated Skyactivs & on the higher, quicker revving 1.5s. The CX5, besides being a 2.0 or 2.5 SkyG, also has more deadening than the 3. One can notice it even more on the bare basic 2. If you wanna drown it out, a good bolt-on Racing Beat axleback will do the trick.[emoji4]
Below is a screenshot from an article noting the behavioral differences between the 1.5 & 2.0 SkyGs in NDs..
Grats & enjoy both your Skyactivs, sir!!!

January 22nd, 2019 10:14 PM #3295It's more of a swish sound. I'm just a bit worried because I've read somewhere that a whistling sound on the tranny means trouble. But anyway, if it's just normal then so be it. Good to hear na normal lang pala. Hehe. Yes the CX-5 has hood insulator but the 3 does not. It could be a factor why the sound inside the engine bay is more pronounced on the 3. Better to buy one at Mikstore. I hope they ship here to Davao. Salamat po sa mga nag reply :-)

January 22nd, 2019 10:47 PM #3299The doorsill trim plates sir. Prone sa scratches kasi. Hindi ko kasi nagustuhan yung design ng available doorsill trim plates sa Mikstore. When I looked at the Mazda USA website, yun ang gusto ko sana.
