This is what is written for Mazda 6 SKYACTIV-D. Malaysia and Philippines are exempted from the 10,000 km interval. However, casa is "insisting" to override the manual as we are using synthetic oil.

At the moment, I'm waiting for their feedback (which will be coming from main office). My plan is to follow the Owner's Manual for the next interval. I'm now running close to 8,000 so I might as well make it to 10,000 and follow the interval next time.

Now I remember, Honda is also following this 10,000 interval or 6 months whichever comes first.

That is true. I do not know of other car companies that offer the same service.

Yes, I think you mentioned it last time. Good reminder, I haven't checked the oil level for a couple of weeks... thank you.

Goes w/ all diesel engines w/ DPF. They prefer those long trips out in the wide open....where passive regeneration occurs....when it uses normal exhaust temperatures and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) as the catalyst to oxidize the soot & particulate matter in the DPF.
Short trips & heavy traffic? Expect frequent Active regen....the aid of diesel needed here to raise temps. Oil dilution is a known side effect of this regen type.

I used Meguiar's Supreme Shine Hi-Gloss Protectant to clean my M3's dashboard. It gave the dashboard and door trims that dark shiny look

Go to Home > Application > Vehicle Status Monitor > Maintenance. From that screen select Scheduled option and change the time setting for your preferred maintenance.

    Ssangyong - another Berjaya brand

I think Volvo offers 2 years service but it's a promo and not indefinite.
