Here's a picture of my 2018 Mazda 3 1.5V in Eternal Blue. It was raining yesterday and I took it out for a roadtrip to the mountains.

It seems that conduction stickers always start at O0...

Nice! I would have chosen this color if it is available for the hatch.

Is your car waxed or ceramic coated? I can see those water beads on the hood.

Thanks! I've only seen 1-2 other Mazda 3's here in Cebu with the same color.

It's not available for the hatch? The difference between the sedan and hatchback is just php 20k, but I don't know, I've always loved the look of the sedan.

No, it's not waxed or ceramic coated. I still have to follow your tips! Unless the MTX wash & wax is considered as wax already. Haha.

The additional ₱20k is likely due to additional parts for the hatchback trunk door, eg wiper, larger door size, small spoiler. The US price for the M3 HB is $1250 more than the 4-door sedan. Compared to the US price, ₱20k additional price tag is actually quite cheap.

Some car wash shampoo brands do have carnauba wax but the hydrophobic properties is likely weak and doesn't last long compared to standalone wax.

Is car waxing a must? Haha. I thought the whole process would be tedious which is why I bought the wash & wax to act as a 2-in-1. Probably don't have the budget for the ceramic coating either.

It protects your car paint sir, making it last longer. Ceramic coating, if you're from metro manila, can be provided by Technical Details. I believe prices starts at 7k?

Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax is easy to apply. Just spray it, wipe and buff with mircofiber towel. It will only take about 30 mins. It's a good activity for a routine inspection of your car's paint condition. For a longer duration of wax protection, go for Collinite or Meguiar's liquid wax.
