I don't frequently encounter posts like that on my FB/IG feed.

Same here. I just filter people that I don't want any updates from, lalo na yung mga kagaya ng aforementioned above na #blessed nalang lahat ng posts hehe. I kept my facebook account, pero limited lang yung naka follow, mostly mga cousins ko lang and mga good buddies.

I automatically unfollow any news related pages or accounts sa papasok sa feeds ko hehe. Kasi it's either fake, or drama related lang naman. If I wanted to know about news, I can always browse from any legit news websites.

Plus I keep my facebook account, kasi halos lahat ng mga nakakausap ko is via facebook messenger(friends who prefer facebook messenger as medium for communication, online shops etc).

I tried deactivating my facebook account without logging out sa facebook messenger before.

Pero mahirap din kasi, pag kelangan ko mag login ng messenger from another device, auto-activated yung facebook account. Kaya finilter ko nalang lahat ng ayaw ko makita, just to keep my account active.

Here's one benefit of using FB: reviews on Mazda. Here's one review that recently caught my attention:

Jessica Lima - I bought a Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring with... | Facebook

I bought a Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring with premium package Friday, Oct. 27th and on Monday all of my safety sensors went off saying they weren't working and my Smart City Brake was was activating when it shouldn't have been causing a dangerous driving condition.
My husband took it into the dealership and it's been there over a week. I've received one voicemail in that time. I called today and was told that an engineer flew out from Japan and that my computer needs to be replaced but it is on International backorder and they will call me tomorrow with an updated ETA.
This is extremely upsetting! I bought this car specifically for my new job where I travel. I started that job this week and I'm without my car. additionally, I'm not confident that something else won't go wrong with my brand new vehicle when something this major has already happened.
Due to the lack of communication received, the nature of the malfunction, and the time it's going to take to get my car back I think Mazda needs to provide me with a new vehicle. This is my third Mazda I have bought. In fact, my husband and I bought a CX-5 in 2015 from the same dealership. I've been in avid Mazda supporter but this experience is beyond frustrating! I need this vehicle for work and was very excited about it. I have no confidence that something like this won't happen again.
    Please make this right!
The CX-5 is in my wishlist for next year. I'm currently looking out for feedbacks and reviews specifically about problems and issues with the new CX-5, and how the local dealership respond to these issues.

I hope they raised this frustrating dealership inaction w/ Bermaz. A friend recently braved deep waters in an unfamiliar area & found himself w/ a dead car(not a CX tho)...the dealership here was quick to the rescue & advised him insurance processing while they prepped the fix.
The new, more refined CX still wears the same 3 engines inside. All proven across different platforms. I'm seeing a growing number of familiar faces driving the new 5 here....talked to some & they were all grinning. My partner has the 2012....& doesn't even plan to give it up anytime soon.[emoji4]

The fb post was from someone at the US, they bought a Grand Touring model a month ago and the electronics went nuts. I think such issue is going to be rare but that's too early to say. I might have to wait for at least a year and see what would be the usual complaints among early buyers. I guess my experiences with Ford after sales service gave me this "wait and see" attitude.

    Ahhh, my bad..No FB here....Patience always pays.[emoji106]
Let's hope that case is isolated, gets attended to & ends favorably for the owner.

I was successful in deleting my FB account years ago. I still maintain a dummy account to join groups. But if I encounter a wayward "fake lives" post. I normally hide all post from that person or even report it to FB as "its annoying and not interesting" and block the person for good measure.
