For me, a car should be red and red goes for a car. Now, what's the color of my car? It's machine gray and I'm stuck with it. I finally got used to it...

Yes, I have to agree. It's the new red. I admit I have fully appreciated the advantages of this color.

Ground clearance is tweakable. You can have some degree of lowering to correct the 2's excessive rake & get a higher approach angle out front. Here's a sample. Left is stock but bumper ground clearance is lower than a reduced rake mildly lowered M2 on the right....

I've taken mine to countless RoRoadtrips...up high tide ferry ramps w/ no issues. The 2's short wheelbase protects its underbelly better than the longer 3. The hatch has practically no rear overhang. This helps you worry less.
Mods are really more want than need....still, resistance will be futile.[emoji16]

Try searching for PeligRacing in facebook. He does sick mods. I know he offers tanabe lowering springs and afaik its the best lowering springs you can get for the mazda dj without sacrificing comfort.

Don't worry. Almost everything about the 2 has been studied, guinea'd & uncovered. Grab the car 1st, then we'll properly map your plans out. There's an awesome community of owners & enthusiasts out in your neckodawoods, too.[emoji4]

Should be limited tho, due to panic buying for people who got scared of excise tax. Cars sold like pancakes.
