Actually sir, when mazda philippines first introduced the v+ variant, it does come along with body kits however, when I asked the agent, I was told that that current v+ sedan variant is no longer equipped with the body kits since nasunog daw yung factory nung pinagkukuhanan nila. I am not really sure if this is true.
Unfortunately, no. I got the V+ variant before the latest refresh with GVC. Aside from this, minor lang ang differences--updated steering wheel, grey instead of red accents on the dash and AC vents, new seatcovers, chrome on the fog lamps (don't like this to be honest), and new LED foglamps.

Actually, there's a manual variant of the sedan being sold here in Cebu. Had that unit been offered earlier I would have seriously considered it. Walang MZD entertainment system at decent rims, but for the price difference you can easily splurge a little on upgrades.

Yes, the lack of a trunk switch is a bummer, especially if you're parking in areas where the security guards require you to open the trunk.

I'll confirm that story about the bodykit with the dealer tomorrow.

I see, sir. Actually, your unit has the power folding mirrors po. And unfortunately, in the updated v+ with GVC mazda dropped that feature. Don't know why.

We might not get everything we want...it may not be practical....but once driven, it'll be hard not to fall for the lil 2.

Yup. Minor disadvantages aside, the M2 has been a very fun car to drive.

BTW sir Travs, since you're based in Cebu (drove past your car in Banilad hehe) were you able to get any feedback from the service advisor re Yojin 3 and replacing the stock horn and headlight bulbs? Itching for an LED upgrade.

Hey, fellow Bisdak! Are you part of the Queen City 2ners? That's a solid affiliate there! Btw, if you're thinking OVT, it has a full time right arm in Cebu...Call OVTph +639174726847 for more details.

On the said mods, the dealership can wash your worries away & do those for you. The H4 LED bulb swap is simple 5min job. No splicing. No canceller. The horn requires bumper removal for proper OE style upgrade.

This. I thought ako lang ang nakapansin nito, as of now, I really don't want to fiddle with the headlight aim,
so my solution? Installed in a set of Osram Night Breaker Unlimited. Way way better now.

Also it is a joy to install, unlike my previous ride,
I have to wrestle the splash guard to barely fit my arm in from underneath, and do the bulb replacement via "feel",
in my m2, just pop up the hood, you can see everything and the bulbs are very accessible.

Actually I don't know if it will. I'll just reinstall the stock ones if im going to visit the casa,
it'll only take me a few minutes to replace it back, so no big deal.
I just made sure that the wattage is the same with the stock bulbs, so as to have
no damage to the headlight housing and/or the reflectors.
