In fairness to the Mazda dealers, mababa pa yang DI na yan.

Yung Honda ba walang DI? Try to get the interest rate from what Honda is offering. Chances are, may DI din yan. All brands / dealers do it. So best option mo is to talk to your bank and just have them send the P.O. to your selected dealer.

One gripe that I have though (which I also expressed for the Mz6) is that the EPS is rather too light for spirited driving. Perfect for city driving, but I would've wanted a bit more weight into it.
Based on my highway stint with the CX5 the steering weighs up at high speeds. The test drive course was too short. They should extend it to the Kalayaan flyover and back

Did you try the paddle shifters? The power delivery is kinda slushy on D. Feels like a CVT. No jerks or kicks at the expense of perceived power when flooring the accelerator.

Noticed that too. But the paddle shifters were very responsive. And in typical Mazda fashion, it holds the gear even at redline.

That's nice. No cold sweats on overtaking then Apparently for the Skyactiv-G engine life begins at 4k RPM

This is not the car for us though. We're waiting for the CX3

Yeah. I tried the 4K RPM last time and it kicked my head back. :-) Fuel economy suffers though. Mazda 2 platform will be around 2015, so I guess the CX-3 will be around 2017. I am planning to get the Mazda 3 for city driving but I'm waiting for the heat to die down a little. If it doesn't then, Mazda 2 SkyActiv it is.

OT: I'm hoping it will be earlier. The B-segment SUV is the next big thing. Mazda CX-3 (EcoSport rival), debuting in Japan in late 2014

Besides I'm not done paying for my current car yet

BTT: This pic just about shows everything I like about the interior: the screen, the perfectly placed shifter and audio controls, the leather-wrapped steering and the paddle shifters.

hi all, test drove both variants 1.5li on Sedan body and the 2.0li on the Hatch....
ang sulit talaga siempre the latter...pero kahit yung 1.5li it has enough grunt to haul its own ass.
no worries there. ganda ng interior...all GPS NAVI ready na pala...saying Mazda Phil. gets it
    right with the GPS maps...
