*Chikselog: yep! kakaadik yung bulalo at yung mushroomburger
On a normal day, medyo matraffic yung from sta. rosa exit to the large intersection (laguna avenue ata yun.) tapos from there, ang kalaban nyo nalang e mga slow moving vehicles na paakyat dun sa national highway... usually jeep or truck

Hehehe.. I hope I get to try that too
..
I see.. April 8 kasi kami ng umaga pupunta roon so that's a thursday.. I hope di ganoong ka-traffic when we go there, sarap bumiyahe ngayon ang luwang ng kalsada..
Sir, 2 lanes lang po ba yung Sta. Rosa - Tagaytay Rd.? Kakatamad kasi kapag may mga mabagal hehe..

kung hindi rush hour, hindi ganoon kalala yung traffic.
ang main stumbling block lang talaga papunta is sa may bicutan... after that steady na. medyo busy lang yung from sta rosa exit to laguna avenue
and yes, dalawang lanes na magkasalubong lang yung paakyat after ng nuvali kaya ingat na lang sa pag overtake ng jeep na mabagal
The times I've been there, I've seen trucks and jeeps that were run off the road and a mitsubishi eclipse na sumalpok sa barrier

April 3rd, 2010 01:24 PM #64there are portions of the balibago-tagaytay road that are two lanes in each direction, however, after the stoplight at paseo it's mostly two lanes. april 8 is a thursday and there's not a lot of traffic going up normally.

April 3rd, 2010 01:45 PM #66hmmm, traffic you mean? i guess we perceive traffic differently hehe, since i take that route every single day. if you're referring to the road having two lanes each way on those portions then you're right, which is why i said mostly.
there are some drivers who don't even care about parking properly when buying corn, very dangerous and inconsiderate.

Thanks again mga sirs
.. I guess I'll take the Eton exit para makaiwas sa posibleng traffic
..BTW, we just got back from Pampanga.. Bali 80+ kms. siya and when we got home, 177.7km ang naka-register sa trip meter.. Siguro mga ganoon na rin kapag sa Tagaytay ng balikan hehe..
And this is the fun part.. When we computed for the FC, 177.7km divided by 8.61 liters =
20.64 km/L !! :clap:4 people on board, 2 teens, 2 adults.. 85% highway 15% city + about 2 kms. traffic dahil sa aksidente sa NLEX.. Tsktsk
Sana ganito rin sa Tagaytay trip! Kaso mas marami na akong sakayLast edited by Chikselog; April 3rd, 2010 at 09:13 PM.

April 3rd, 2010 09:24 PM #68that's good, but you have to factor in the uphill climb to tagaytay, that will affect your FC. goodluck

April 3rd, 2010 09:46 PM #70yeah, i'm impressed too. that's what i got when i took the picanto to pagudpud.
OT - sir scharnhorst, i didn't drive the picanto onto the sand near the windmills since i was afraid i would get stuck. after seeing your ranger mired in the sand, i knew the little car didn't stand a chance hehe
