November 26th, 2017 11:41 PM #301san ka dumadaan and anong sinasabi mo sa guard so they’ll let you pass without leaving your license or ID?
from Solenad/S&R area kasi there’s a guard house with boom before the rotunda. dito humihingi ng identification if you don’t have vehicle stickers.
Then there’s another guard post few meters before turning right up to marcos mansion. Dito parang nirerecord lang ng mga guards yung dumadaan.
Was thinking na sa ibang exit dumadaan yung mga tiga-barangay casile. Silangan or Canlubang maybe?

Yung mga routes na pwedeng lusutan, gamayin ko na lang po..

December 25th, 2017 01:31 AM #307My place is 30 minutes from tagaytay via amadeo road and we dont go up during christmas, holy week and long weekends due to the heavy number of people on those dates/holidays. But if you really want to visit the place, be there before 7:30 in the morning to avoid carmageddon scenario. Traffic usually peaks around 11am onwards.

December 27th, 2017 01:22 PM #308I agree with this one. I've been to kennon many times, halsema about 5 times, and banaue-sagada route twice, cervantes-sagada route twice, Marilaque to Infanta many times, and for me, sungay/ligaya drive is the most challenging 4km span I had driven on. 4 hairpins with inclinations of i think 25 to 35 degrees. not to mention the narrow shoulders with plunging ravine, the unsuspecting pedestrians, the fog, the mud flow, the blind curves. Kennon road is a freeway compared to this one.
Theres another road more manageable to negotiate than Sungay/Ligaya drive - the Laurel - Tagaytay road. Its about 2Km from Sungay junction in Talisay, also on the right side. Not much inclination, not much heavy curves, good view of the valley. The exit is at Tagaytay Rotonda.

From Manila going to tagaytay, ano na best route? Will be there tom. noon (good luck) to me [emoji24]
Southwoods? Silangan? Ayokong dumaan sta.rosa nakakadala traffic dyan paakyat. I prefer Silangan mas mabilis for me byahe medyo malayo lang.
Anu suggestions? Thanks!
