December 31st, 2017 10:03 AM #23Dati I tried hiding my dog inside the bathroom para makaiwas sa tension caused by firecrackers. But the problem was, the dog felt na iiwanan siya and it kept on barking. So, long story short, inilabas ko na din and naging saksi ulit siya sa new year festivities with all the noise and firecrackers.
But if you really want to spare your dog from the firecracker noise thing, try to find dog clinics with boarding...that's what were doing pag umaalis kami at walang maiiwan sa bahay.

Luckily for me, my dogs are not scared of firecrackers. They just go about their business even with fireworks at full blast.

December 31st, 2017 03:49 PM #26For some reason, our dog sleeps through the whole thing as if walang nangyayari.
Either that or she looks around outside with us. Di naman siya bingi hehe
I do recall na natatakot siya sa firecrackers for the first 2-3 years with us.

Aso ko nagtatahol lang galit sa firecrackers kaya pag dating ng 12am lalo ko pinapatahol para siya na lang maingay.

One of the firecrackers of our neighbor hit our garage gate and exploded two thirds of a foot away from one of our rides.
It left a burnt mark on our garage gate...
Deym! It is good that it is just like that.
They should not have ignited the firecrackers in front of our house as theirs is not directly in front of us...
