Looks have improved but, unfortunately, I don't think this will be priced well enough to compete here.
A base model gas variant priced higher than the TOTL Territory will not sell. A hybrid priced over 2M will not sell vs the competition either -- the RAV4 HEV base model is now just 2M while the fully loaded Sealion 6 is half a million cheaper.

November 6th, 2024 07:00 PM #57I was not knowledgeable of their old model cars, but were they also made in Korea?
I think made in Korea cars nowadays demands premium price.
From Hyundai, the latest Tucson and Santa Fe Gen 4 and up were made from Korea.
I can attest that the craftmanship quality is good, in my Santa Fe Gen4, wala pa din akong na experience na rattling and any other issues sa engine in my 4 years+ of ownership.
Also, South Korea is not an ASEAN member so probably this is also one of the factor of the high price.
But other cars not made in Korea, they are affordable naman and priced right (KIA Stonic and the Sonet?).
Not sure of the quality of the make though.
