2019 Kia Sportage test drive

Congratulations! A few days shy of your deadline!!! How was the test drive? Which dealer was this?

Actually my deadline was the end of next month, but the buyer for my Ravie wanted to get my unit already, I paid a visit to the Pampanga dealership, lo and behold they had this one in the back.

My test drive was what I had expected and then some. The ride height is higher than my Ravie. The steering was like butter, very smooth handing and the linear power delivery was better than my 2.4L Rav4.

Suspension wise, almost the same as mine, I expected a bit of wiggling, acceptable nonetheless. But what really impressed me was the lack of engine noise inside and outside the cabin. It was as silent as any petrol engine CUV!

& that is with the LX! The ride is actually very smooth & car like on the flats. The suspension of the GT should be far better. Good thing the test drive didn’t disappoint.

Absotively right sir Bloo, when we got on the NLEX I felt like I was driving somerhing more nimble and light. It felt as good as the Forester I test drove last month.

The wifey is already planning our next trip to Sagada. Haha!

Join us sir, the plan is to go sometime in October or November, the cooler months with less rain.

Might also do a Pagudpud run if we have enough time, hehe.

SA says I might be able to get the unit by Friday since it's already there.

Clear white lang po sir Phil, the actual unit I posted in the page before this one. White is something of a tradition in our family, all of our big vehicles have been white. More visible at night, better heat reflection, easier to clean and maintain.

I got a 30K discount and the usual freebies kuno, LTO Reg., 20 liters of fuel, Huper Optik tint. Insurance will cost me 40K.
