Was informed that the 5k km service will be about 1k less - oil change only!

Dito sa Manila ... 1500 PMS cost is 3,561.71 pesos ... change oil (8 liters), oil filter, gear oil, drain plug ... labor is free.

Mineral oil? Semi synthetic? What brand and rating?

mura lang naman diesel oil na hinde synthetic, santa fe ko 6 liters change oil eh 1,500 lang sa shell sama na labor + oil filter na P400 sa sering. yan naman isuzu di naman kelangan ng synthetic yan kasi euro 2 isuzu diesel engine lang naman yan. di tulad ng mga fords ngaun 5W-30 diesel oil synthetic talaga, eh yun pang gasolina nga na 5W30 mahal na,

pero ano ba gamit dyan 15W-40 helix

Kelangan ba talaga palitan yung differential gear oil sa 1,500 KM na PMS (MUX 3.0 4x2 AT)? called Isuzu Bacolod para magpaschedule and inquire na din magkano aabutin ng PMS, and was informed na Php 6k plus daw. For the oil, differential gear oil, oil filter...

differntial oil siguro mga 1 liter lang yan or less. dali lang magpalit nyan ah sa shell 10 mins. lang

Nope. Didn't see it myself. Like most dealerships, they drive your vehicle away then the drive it upfront when done. They did give me 2 gal plastic containers; one with leftover, one filled with used oil. They didn't give me back the used oil filter.

One thing that bothers me is the used oil they gave back is super-dark!!! Almost like the kind that comes out of my Crosswind. I did check my oil yesterday using the dipstick and it was quite clear.....hhmmmmm, makes you wonder!

ah malamang yan nun nasa drum. di okey mga ganyan oils. mas ok pa sa shell kasi lagi bago palit, dahil mabilis ang turnover.

casa oils are really a poison pill to swallow kasi malay mo ba kung marami lang sila basyo ng 1 gallon oil dyan na kunwari nilalagay sa likod ng car mo when you claim your unit . Yun Hyundai Pasig notoriious sa ganyan eh, kuntodo may mga pinagpalitan pa sa likod, pero after 2 days lang sama na ng takbo ng car ko.

also dont' buy those oils na nabibile sa banawe, even if castor oil o purple oil or whatever, Ive had my share of those oils na ni-refer sa mga hyundai clubs or any other club, parang fake mga yun. sa shell or petron na lang ako lagi, sigurado authentic pa for a time umusok ang engine ko eh, kasi yan mga oil na yan napasok sa turbo yan pag may tubig yan nakows, i stopped using those oils sold in banawe, and surprisingly nag-correct ang engine ng sf ko, even without any repairs or removal.

so 15W-40 din pala MUX, hmm at 8 liters parang 2K+ lang yan PMS nyan eh, hmm. EH BAKIT ang lakas kumobra sa casa neto may mga MUX ngaun hahaha
