True but keep in mind, the D-Max can run to as much as 180kph. I think that is more than enough speed even at NLEX and ScTEX. Good speed and GREAT torque.... saan ka pa?

Besides, since you mentioned about lifestyle... most of the pick-up owners would slap 18-20" rims. I dount if you'd be comfortable speeding past 150kph with those. And pick-ups are not designed for very high speed... so stability, comfort and safety would be compromised.

And once the bed is loaded, I think it would not be safe to run above 120.

Pick ups are not indeed designed for hi speed but those with speed capability, then you have a very nice Icing on the cake but you don't need the speed all the time especially if you slapped them with bigger tires and rims and what have yous.

Anyway, a video of pick up trucks racing in thailand.
Panalo sana DMAx if not for the busted tire.

Just last night my "HEADLIGHT (low/front-right)" got busted. My husband went to the casa this morning for 35K PMS and inquire about the bulb. Sabi ng casa hindi raw under warranty yun (totoo po ba na di covered yun ng warranty?) and kung papalitan sa kanila 850 pesos daw for that single low bulb. My Dmax will be on its 2nd year this coming September. Patulong naman po...thankks in advance!!!

Madam, unfortunately not covered po ng warranty yung headlamp bulbs since these fall under the category of "wear and tear" items. I think you can get branded headlamp bulbs outside CASA for a much less cost

One night my rear projector lamp got hit by a passenger bus along Aguinaldo Hi-way in Cavite. I just found out today that the bus doesnt have any right of whatsoever to operate etc. etc.. One more thing the the bus driver and the conductor is so arrogant yelling words you can never imagine and even called a mob/ relatives (at the site of the incident). The driver even managed to throw a punch right in front of my face and one of his relatives (who is a very close relative of my husband) grab me in the neck with force. While I, never said an ugly word neither I lifted a single finger at them . Of course, I have the all the right in the world to be mad! Maybe I'll tell the whole story once this incident is finished.
