Hi all!! I'm a New Dmax Owner here. I bought a White LS MT special edition.
Can you guys give me some rough estimate on how much wil it cost me on this accessories?
1. Bed Liner
2. Hood Guard
3. Window Visor (i dont really know whats its real name)
4. Roller up
I already askd the "casa" but it seems that their price is a kinda high.
I agree with rna800.... karagdagang advise ko kapag bedliner ok na Carryboy or if you have extra budget lagyan mo na ng spray on bedliner tas lagyan mo pa rin ng Carryboy Plastic Bedliner... Sa Stepboard kung gusto mo na naiiba ka go for KSC Stepboard Model AC-804 made in Thailand. I saw this stepboard sa isang DMAX 4x2 LS sa Isuzu Alabang.
For Meguiars Synthetic Sealant it will cost you P1,500 (will last for 6mos) and for Ziebart Zee Glaze P5,400 (last for 6mos) and for Ziebart Diamond Gloss P7000 (last for 6 to 1yr) pero pagkatapos nun after 6mos or 1 year P1,900 na lang. Pare-pareho sila ipinapahid then buff.
Congrats on your new DMAX wecome to tsikot! I've tried driving all pick-ups maliban lang sa New Mazda BT-50 ba yun. I wud not go for Navarra, why khit gusto ko rin cya sobra lapad di bagay sa negosyanteng tulad ko na always on the road at or nasa parking area palagi. Isa pa po kung meron pa ko pambili, bibili pa ko isang DMax LS wether it be 4x2 or 4x4, or SE. Not white but black or tornade red!
Im out!

March 18th, 2009 02:03 AM #4482Sorry nga pala for that stepboard advise ... Glaciel White LS SE nga pala yun sayo. Ganda talaga white di ba? Pero kakainis tlaga yan kapag tag-ulan. Just like mine w/c i acquired last September 2008. Abot abot nun ang ulan kakainis kakapagod mag-washing at waxing talaga ng paulit ulit.
Go for the protective sealant wether it be Ziebart, Meguiars or anything out there that you want bago mag rainy season .

March 18th, 2009 05:45 AM #4484To St_Omach;
Thanks sa tips maam... Actually first time ko lng po gumamit ng Pick up truck.. SUV gamit ko for 3 years, pero i decided t buy a truck since mas kelangan ko to for my type of business.. kaya mejo newbie tlaga ako >.<.
My problem is I'm from Cagayan Valley, I doubt kung merong mga shops d2 na nag ooffer ng paint protectors.. (sad.. bihira p nman ako bumiyahe ng manila).
Pero may Dealer dito ng Carryboy accessories.. Kaya nga lng mejo mataas ang prices.. (pero mas mura compared sa "casa")... Yun plastic Bedliner nila is 10k.. Stepboards is from 8-12k depende din sa model... I'm stil thinking if i'm going to put a canopy w/c will cost me nearly 100k >.< or i'll just put motorized roll up (way cheaper and looks better IMO). I dont know, maybe kelangan ko p ng tips and advice about d2.

March 18th, 2009 07:16 PM #4488There are pictures of my truck here but I don't know what page/pages they are in. Perhaps in 270 onwards. If you wanna see it, just back read. With mine, I used a spray on bedliner, I have a stepboard, which I think has a ball park price of more than 8k and the most expensive as there were only 2 designs available for Dmax, a motorized roller lid and that silver thing that accentuates the rear light. Initially, I was eyeing on the roller top but unfortunately, I was told that I have to wait since they still need to order it. They showed me that roller lid just in case I was interested and they told me that it is there latest product. I tried it for a change and so far no regrets. Just don't expect it to be water tight and it doesn't retract all the way to the end unlike those roller tops. The good thing is you could move it with just a touch of a button but it takes time to get used to it. You will see everything in the pictures that I posted previously.
With your decision whether you would put a canopy or roller top/roller lid, it depends how you will use your truck. I have both the roller top and the roller lid in my trucks since I want them to be flexible wherein it doesn't matter if I will put a tall fridge or a bag since all I need to do is open it. But there are people like my neighbor, he has pickups and all of them have those canopy's due to the nature of his business he said. Sometimes it's in the taste of the owner. Just go with what you think would fit for you.
