isuzu d-max 3.0 > 0-60mph(96kmh) = 20 secs
top speed = 96 mph (154kph)

mitsu strada 2.5 > 0-60mph = 17.5 secs
top speed = 104 mph (167kph)

toyoya hi lux 3.0 > 0-60mph= 11.9 secs
top speed= 109mph (175kph)

hilux leads due to VGT. and also dmax aren't built for speed due to its close-gear ing ratio. anyway, kanya-kanyang panahon lang talaga. ngaun sikat, tom hindi na. hehe. i'll wait na lang for the all new dmax. i think it will surpass the nissan frontier navarra..

May sira yata yung DMax ko kasi sa odometer ko nag-ta-topspeed ito ng nearly 175kph....baka hindi accurate odometer ko.

Tapos if I run it good, I think it can reach 96kph from a stand still in much much less than 20 secs.

....I think the manufacturer's figures were not tested on the same "ground" so it would be difficult to rely on figures alone as a basis.

try to floor a dmax someday and you'll see what i mean.

it is probably a common phenomenon.... same scenario if one would just talk to a salesperson ng mga sasakyan na ito... (unless it is as professional a Lui)

It is really best to judge it once nasakyan at naidrive mo na.

then why do you doubt it? imposible ba ang nearly 175kph sa dmax? di ko alam yan wala naman akong dmax, if that so then thats good. thats 20% exceeding the manufacturers figure. well done wild thing!
