I know what fuel knocking is because I used to experience this in my old Pajero. It was caused by pockets of air in the fuel line and we solved this by bleeding the line.

Has anyone of you experienced fuel knocking in your unit?
how do we detect it? i mean, anong signs to be sure i'm suffering from fuel knocking?

hirap ata mangyari yan memp.... kc EFI na dmax natin the fuel injection pumo could detect if there is something wrong sa fuel... you dont need to warm it up for ten minutes.... grabe naman nun... hehehe.... and basta everytime magchange oil kayo, sabay narin drain ang sedimentor which is located underneath the chasis at the driver side....

ako honestly, pinapainit ko yung engine for at least 5-10 minutes kasi para dun sa turbo. pero i do it by driving slowly para pag dating sa may NLEX, ok na yung engine temp. pwede na bumirit. hehehe.

its just your old pulley... meron lang nilagay na metal sa loob.. pinapagawa lang yan sa machine shop ang metal.... square ang metal and the size or dimensions is patterned after the motor...

    Ian,
10minutes warm up is already overkill. It does more harm to your engine this way. Warm-up your engine 3-5minutes, then drive off slowly.

As for the fuel knoking, there must be something wrong with the injectors. I doubt if this has anything to do with warming up your rig.

dude kung balak mo bumili diyan.. magingat ka lang. Kasi for me, ang binabayaran mo sa HID is yun warranty and yun dali nila kausap. Almost lahat kasi ng HID same lang ang buga.

by the way, im selling HID. 12,000php price ko. Xenoptics brand. Hi-halogen and Low-HID para magamit pa rin flasher. I have all bulb temperatures.
