August 11th, 2009 10:05 AM #23I've tried Petron, Shell and Caltex. Now, I use Caltex Delo regularly. What matters is that oil change is done regularly. If your engine is turbocharged, synthetic oils give an advantage since they do not breakdown easily due to excessiely heat and thus are not prone to coking, which destroys turbocharger efficiency.
I hope this helps.
Cheers!

August 11th, 2009 10:56 AM #24I can't explain it but my truck runs better (smoother, less smoke, more power, less noise, easier starts) when I use Sea Oil Biodiesel. I've only tried Flying V and Sea Oil so far. Furthermore, Sea Oil seems to leave less moisture in my tank. I also use their additive.
